Aqua Air Industries is worldwide supplier of commercial diving equipment, complete saturation systems, sat tankage components, and ancillary equipment. We have utilized the knowledge and past experience of our personnel to design/construct state of the art diving and saturation equipment that is safe and efficient in order to meet the demands of the diving industry and to maintain the accelerated pace towards greater operational depth. Our purpose is to provide innovative and reliable diving equipment, competitively priced. Aqua Air Industries designs and builds over 75 products under our AAI product line and also supplies all major brands of diving equipment. Our two-acre site in Harvey, Louisiana (4 miles from the port of New Orleans) houses our Saturation Systems Division, fabrication facility, warehouse, electronics division, and diver's locker showroom.
INSIDE SALES BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION - Telephone and internet sales of commercial diving equipment. Entering data in computer to create quotations and sales orders. Sending and receiving e-mail inquiries. Coordinating the shipping of orders with shipping department and accounting support personnel. Contacting new and existing customers to promote sales.
Qualifications:
• Sales experience required – 1 year
• Familiarity with commercial diving equipment helpful but not required.
• Professional positive attitude and ability to work well with others.
• Computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook etc) are required. OJT for Mas200.
• Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task a must.
• Mechanical ability helpful, but not required.
• A general aptitude test that includes math and English skills is required.
• 1 year of college or Vo-Tech school required.
• Personal Driver’s license required.
• Excellent communications skills required.

Ecological Specialists, Inc. (ESI) - JOB ANNOUNCEMENT
Position: Full Time Dive Coordinator/Supervisor
Location: St. Louis, MO Office (Fieldwork throughout Midwestern U.S.)
• ADCI Commercial Diver Supervisor Certification
• Current Physical (ADCI/Army Corps of Engineers criteria), First Aid, Oxygen, CPR certification
• Ability to maintain and repair dive and other field equipment
Ecological Specialists, Inc. (ESI) is a small environmental consulting firm with a office in St. Louis, MO that provides biological surveys (mussels, fish, invertebrates) for industry, government, and public clients primarily within rivers of the the midwestern U.S. ESI is taking applications for a dive supervisor position. Primary responsibilities are to assist with aquatic surveys as a supervisor, diver, tender, and biotechnician. Additional responsibilities include maintenance and repair of dive equipment (surface-supplied air, SCUBA, and communication systems), boats/motor, and other field gear; preparation of dive and safety plans; and assist with data collection and recording. Much of the diving will be in medium to large rivers, often with no visibility, to collect freshwater mussels and riverbed samples.
Qualifications:
• Advanced boat operation and maintenance skills preferred
• Familiarity with OSHA, ADCI, and Corps of Engineers diving regulations and dive plans
• Flexible schedule and willingness/ability to travel around the eastern U.S. for field studies
• Professionalism, positive attitude, and ability to work well with others
• Computer skills (Word, Excel, etc) are highly desirable
• Organizational skills along with record keeping.
• Underwater inspection experience is considered with potential for that work to develop
