Classes of membership in ADCI are defined as:
APPLICANTS FOR MEMBERSHIP ARE CAUTIONED THAT ALL APPLICATIONS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION APPROPRIATE TO THE CLASS OF MEMBERSHIP SOUGHT. IF ON-LINE APPLICATION IS MADE THEN, ALL REQUIRED ATTACHMENTS, DOCUMENTS, ETC. MUST BE PROVIDED TO ADCI WITHIN 14 DAYS THEREAFTER. INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE PROCESSED!
INDIVIDUAL
An ADCI individual certified commercial diver not engaged in competitive business activity with Members of the Association. Fill out this separate application to join as an individual.
GENERAL
Any corporation, firm, partnership, organization or other association that provides diving or other underwater technology services as a substantial or integral part of their business and who pledges to support the purposes of this Association and to comply with the ADCI Consensus Standards for Commercial Diving and Underwater Operations shall be eligible to be a General member.
ASSOCIATE
Any corporation, firm, partnership, organization or other association that provides services, manufacturing, supplies, goods, or is otherwise involved in business in support of that in which the General Members are engaged, and who supports the purposes of this Association.
SUPPORTING
Category (1)
Individuals, corporations, firms, partnerships, or other associations that support the purposes of this Association and who derive revenues through the conduct of their business activities.
Category (2)
Organizations such as government regulatory authorities, oversight agencies, military authorities, or national associations that do not directly participate in commercial diving operations or deliver products or services to member companies of this Association.
AFFILIATE
Any organization, foreign or domestic, that, in the judgment of the Board of Directors supports the purposes of this Association may be invited by the Board of Directors to join this Association. Such member shall not be eligible to be a director nor have any voting rights with regard to this Association and shall be exempt from payment of dues.
